Angela Asay started dancing at the age of 6 and finally took her first dance class at the age of 14 when she moved to the Philippines. While she was there, she also grew interest in taekwondo and started competing. She joined two dance groups and competed with one of them and won first in their very first big competition. She also started to compete more in sparring and finally got her first gold after 4 matches. She then moved back to the US in 2020 during Covid. Once she got here she got more into exercising at the gym and weight lifting. She worked as a taekwondo instructor as her first job in 2021, then stopped in 2022 to focus more on her dancing career.
