What would it look like to give life to something you value?

What if you could identify a need and how to fill it in a way that uplifts yourself and others?

Today I want to introduce you to Michael, I have the pleasure of being a part of the co-working community that Michael has created, and as a result have been able to get to know the incredible human that he is

Michael is one that makes others feel welcome, that sees and acts with intentionality when it comes to creating community and space to fill a deep need we each have… to belong

He shares with me how life has taken a big turn recently and the fear that can come from that, but also, the confidence in knowing it was the right choice no matter how difficult

We chat about what it means to communicate appreciation, what holds some of us back when it comes to offering our “advice,” and how the time in our own heads can be both incredible and limiting all once

He shares his desire for equality to be seen as something that holds true to our individuality and doesn’t become an alteration of our uniqueness, how he wants to encourage other artists and anyone to never stop creating, and.. we get into the nitty gritty “dirt” of what would make this world a better place

Michael is a genuine, intentional, and creative human, one that loves and celebrates the beauty in human difference, appreciates how those unlike him, like his wife, bring a different aspect of joy into his life, and one that I have seen prioritize space for relational growth with others in an authentic way

So tune in today and meet Michael, a human that reminds us all what it means to be a part of community, what it means to be who we are, and the opportunity we each hold to encourage and create space for others

And to you Michael thank you, thank you for not just the way I have and continue to benefit from your heart and intentionality for the community at R5 but for how you have and continue to be a part of my own community that I get to laugh with, learn from, and both be encouraged by and encourage to keep seeing what lies ahead
