In Japan, she navigated the subtleties of communication, learning that "maybe" can mean "no" in certain situations, a sharp contrast to the directness of her Israeli culture. She also shared her experience of giving birth to her first child in Japan.

In the United States, Avi faced the challenges of adapting to cold winters while raising a child. She encountered difficulties in finding a job in her field, but her resilience eventually led her to a career change. Throughout her journey, she prefers to view these experiences as opportunities for personal and family growth rather than sacrifices.
