Exchanging Racial Division For Biblical Unity.

✨Theologian Monique Duson built her life on her identity of being a black woman. She fully embraced Critical Race Theory (CRT) for decades. She tried maintaining her Christian faith while embracing the incompatible worldview of CRT.

Her liberation came when a white woman Krista Bontrager, and co-founder of the organization they started together, poignantly asked her if her primary identity was being a black woman or a Christian. As a result of Monique's subsequent Bible studies and faith she determined above all, she is a child of God,. She rejected CRT as a worldview in that it is not rooted in and is contradictory to the Christian scriptures. Monique understands we are all unique and fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and our secondary identities are all subject to our position as children of God and part of His family..

Just before the Black Lives Matter protests engulfed the United States after George Floyd's death, Monique and Krista established "The Center For Biblical Unity". The newly founded organization received contact from all over the country asking for guidance on dealing with race issues in the church.

Krista and Monique work passionately to help churches focus on Biblical unity in Christ, rejecting today's critical social justice movements. They teach that neither the BLM nor LGBTQ Flags and similar ideologies have any part in a church, as they cause division and resentment.

Purpose Statement of the Center For Biblical Unity:
In a culture polarized by race and where conversations about race often lead to division, strife, and blame, the Center For Biblical Unity exists to lead respectful and Bible-centered discussions on race, unity, and justice.

We believe that the solution to these issues must start with Scripture. We begin with defining terms according to Scripture, not culture. Terms like "woke," "white fragility," or "whiteness" have no place within the Body of Christ and only cause hurt and increased distrust among believers.

Our aim is to use Scripture to define terms like humanity, race, love, and justice. We also want to bring practical tools for clergy and lay people to walk out the ideals of racial unity and biblical justice.
