Welcome to another edition of What Barrie's Talking About from Barrie 360! It's a big week with lots to talk about. What Barrie's Talking About is a weekly podcast that brings the local stories that impact you. News stories that you aren't used to hearing!

This week on the podcast, we talk about Earth Day, the conflict over Electrical Vehicles, Homeruns For The Hungry, and more...

What Barrie's Talking About This Week

1) Earth Day At The Museum

Monday is Earth Day, an annual event held to support environmental protection. A number of communities and businesses in Simcoe County will be celebrating, including the Simcoe County Museum.

Our Will Konken gets the rundown from the events programmer Meredith Patterson...

2) To EV or not to EV?

There is a massive debate over Electrical Vehicles these days. It seems there is an even split between people who support them and those who don't. But, who is right?

We decided to go right to the middle and chat with the Canadian Automobile Association's Assistant Vice President, Government and Community Relations, Teresa Di Felice for some guidance...

3) Barrie Colts Update

Now that the Colts season has finished the focus has shifted to the OHL's priority draft and what the team has in mind for the new additions.

Barrie 360's Will Konken chats with Colts writer and broadcaster Gene Pereira to get his thoughts on the picks...

4) Homeruns For The Hungry

First, we had Hockey For The Homeless. Now we have Homeruns For The Hungry, an event that brings together the Barrie Foodbank and the Barrie Baycats.
