If we plan for our families or for our businesses then we are natural futurists. We don’t often think about what it means to be a futurist, but there are skills and models we can develop and use, to be more effective, to avoid potential disasters and to take advantage of even unexpected opportunities.
Being a conscious futurist means intentionally moving up a spiral of awareness from merely surviving to becoming responsible, invested and then conscious about the future we create for those we care about.
Charlotte Kemp is the Futures Alchemist and will show you how to think about the future, discover tools and direction and to continue your investment in your family business in a way that will be more sustainable and have a more positive influence over the years.
Charlotte Kemp is a futurist, professional speaker, author and podcaster and the Deputy President of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa. Her parents were born in Zimbabwe and she has happy memories of her early childhood there with parents, grandparents and cousins nearby.
In this session, you will be provided with a model for thinking about the future as well as a one-page visioning exercise to use to start your futures thinking.
