Today on Unlicensed Therapy, I am joined by comedian, actress, and YouTuber Chelcie Lynn. Chelcie rose to fame through her Vine acting as her alter ego Trailer Trash Tammy. In this episode, Chelcie and I discuss her rise to fame using unconventional channels like YouTube. Although she referred to herself as only an “internet comedian”, Chelcie had the foresight to know that her success and fame were imminent. Fast forward 15 years. To get to her level of celebrity Chelcie had to first get through the trenches of her childhood. As the oldest of three siblings, Chelcie found herself being the matriarch of the family. Her dad being an alcoholic and mom a meth addict, they often would disappear leaving no food only to return days later bringing chaos and fear.
