Join Destiny on today’s episode as she shares practical tools to help you identify the source of your negative thoughts and how to combat them.

The first step in overcoming negative thoughts is to recognize their source.

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." We must understand that negative thoughts often stem from the enemy's attempts to discourage and distract us from God's truth.

Once we recognize the source of these negative thoughts, we can combat them with the power of God's Word.

In 2 Corinthians 10:5, we are instructed to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." This means that we have the authority to reject negative thoughts and replace them with God's promises and truth.

The practice of speaking biblically rooted affirmations is a powerful tool for overcoming negative thoughts and cultivating a healthy mindset.

By consistently speaking affirmations, we can train our minds to focus on God's truth and overcome negative thinking patterns.

Scriptures Mentioned:

Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:5, Romans 8:37, Psalm 16:11
