We are back for 2024, so come and join us as we cover the major news happening around the world, with our theme this year on misinformation and disinformation, the number one issue in the World Economic Forum’s Global Risk Report, and with 49% of the world’s population going to the polls this year, it is critical we all learn how to navigate this risk.

There is a lot more going on, from the latest Taylor Swift shenanigans to the war in Gaza, the growing risks of the Houthi’s actions in the Red Sea, extreme weather events, farmers blocking cities and towns across Europe, the ICJ ruling on whether Israel is guilty of genocide. This event was quickly followed by the announcement that UNRWA had members involved in the October 7th attack, resulting in countries all over the world announcing they would stop funding until a thorough investigation happens. With the Palestinians now forced to eat grass and drink polluted water, the situation couldn’t be worse.
And that’s just a flavour of what we will discuss, so do come and join us and you’ll be up to date with all the major news happening in our world.
