Wow, where to start... the most impressive and inspiring story you will hear.
Alexander Drueke, a US Army veteran from Alabama, decided to go to Ukraine to fight for our freedom and democracy. Things did not work out as he had planned, and the Russians captured him. Alex was in Russian captivity for 105 days.
Alex learned a few lessons during his time in captivity that we should all embrace in our day-to-day life.
Alex inspired us, and we hope he will be for you, too - share it with others so more people can be moved. He is working on a book covering more of what he has been through and what he took with him from this experience - be on the lookout.
We decided to share the video of the recording on YouToub as well; there is something empowering about seeing our facial expressions during the recording.
Alex is an amazing speaker, so if you want to inspire your community, you should contact him.
Join us for another episode of Ukraine - Voices From Within. We are here to bring you interesting voices from Ukraine, not Ukrainian voices, but voices of people outside of Ukraine who chose to volunteer their time, money, and life to support Ukraine and Ukrainians. This is your opportunity to get inspired by outstanding people!
