S1E14: This episode marks the beginning of our Jack the Ripper Files. Periodic future episodes will be dedicated to each of the victims and suspects of the infamous Jack the Ripper murders that took place in Whitechapel, London in 1888. In this first episode in the collection we will focus on the first of the "Canonical Five", Mary Ann Nichols. She was a wife, mother, and daughter that had been completely estranged from her family for three years. At the time of her death it was noted how similar her murder was to other recent brutal killings in the area, but general consensus of Ripper-ologists has put her as the first. Was she? Join us into this deep dive into the life and death of Mary Ann Nichols.
