A storm system over the central Plains this evening will continue
northeastward into the Great Lakes region by tomorrow afternoon, with an
area of rain and some thunderstorms along its path across the Corn Belt
southward to the Ozarks tonight into early Wednesday. By tomorrow, the
front will continue eastward and afternoon thunderstorms are again
possible ahead of the cold front over parts of the Midwest. Temperatures
will be mild ahead of the cold front across the Ohio Valley, reaching into
the 70s (north) to 80s farther south across the Lower Mississippi Valley.
Lighter rain is expected farther north toward the Canadian border, amidst
cooler temperatures in the 50s/60s, as well as into the Mid-Atlantic and
Northeast as the system starts to weaken.

eastern Montana will support snow over much of the northern Rockies and
into the foothill locations, especially over northern Wyoming. Snow will
continue across western Montana tonight and slowly taper off on Wednesday
as the system exits the mountains, but will start to bring some rain to
the central Plains starting early Thursday. For the Southwest, warmer
