The Trail Went Cold – Episode 230 – Lynette Culver
Manage episode 295121481 series 1288531
May 6, 1975. Pocatello, Idaho. After leaving her school on her lunch break, 12-year old Lynette Culver vanishes without a trace and is subsequently reported missing. Nearly 14 years later, prior to his execution, notorious serial killer Ted Bundy confesses to being responsible for Lynette’s murder. While Bundy provides specific details to make many people believe his confession was genuine, Lynette’s body is never found, and in the years following her disappearance, four other girls from Pocatello wind up becoming victims of unsolved murders. Could all of these crimes somehow be connected? On this week’s episode of “The Trail Went Cold”, we will be exploring the story of Lynette Culver and a number of different cold cases involving missing and murdered females, some of whom are believed to be unconfirmed victims of Ted Bundy.
