This week’s podcast hosted by Sean Price of Velez Managed Services, is with Francesca Tricarico, Managing Director at Future Cloud Accounting Limited.

In today’s episode Francesca speaks on her career path and where she started. Francesca reveals that she has always had an entrepreneurial way of thinking, from her previous positions and roles in other companies, she explains how she worked hard and treated other people’s business like her own in order to succeed, some would say harder than the actual owners. We also discuss women in business in general and the views and stigmas there are existing within the industry. As well as a business owner, Francesca is also somewhat of a “mumtrepreneur”, as we later get into and discuss her being a mother, as well as a CEO and being an active social influencer posting daily promoting; fitness, women’s rights, mental health and many other areas.

Venturing down memory lane we go into Francesca’s family life when she was young, speaking about the expectations of her Italian family had as well as the general prehistoric social views people had back in the day. Such as having the future goals of “marrying a rich man to look after you, whilst you look after the home” being nudged onto young impressionable girls, even till this day! But for Francesca, this was not a goal she wanted. Instead, she made big business moves and focussed on having a successful career in order to be independent whilst still being able to give her children the best life.
