If you’re getting started with investing but are feeling a little intimidated, you’ll want to listen to this Real Investor!

Ashley Jackson used to be a school principal before she got started in real estate. Her time in education left feeling drained and burnt out so she decided to look for an alternative. During this time, Ashley discovered a few friends and family members who had been successfully investing in real estate for years. Having heard their stories, she decided to take the leap and started her own real estate business with her husband in Houston, Texas. They started off with wholesaling and then discovered subject to. While they continue to be transaction engineers, they love subject to deals and use them to build up capital to reinvest. Ashley went full-time after their first wholesale deal in 2018.

In this episode, Ashley shares her unique strategy on investing without getting into debt. She also explains how and why any new investor should leverage on their existing networks, especially in a time like this. And finally, she shares three things she feels all investors must have to build up their real estate business.
