Congressman Steven King from Iowa wondered if there would “be any population of the world left” if not for rape and incest. Let's think about this... certainly if you're a creationist you have to allow for a high degree of incest? And what about ancient societies that we laud for conquering the known world? What about the Christopher Columbus and other Europeans conquering the new world? That is to say nothing of the royal lineages and child brides. Does Steve King have a point?
