Followed by an interesting compare and contrast of Sherman's March to the Sea with Nathanael Greene's Race to the Dan River. John talks about some of the major figures in his article, "The Confederates who should've been hanged." This episode wraps up with a discussion on the effects of the revisionist version of the Civil War had on Reconstruction, Jim Crow, and even into today.
