Burnout is a common topic in the world of training and performance cycling. However, it is often misunderstood as many cases of burnout are self-inflicted by the athlete falling short of their personal expectations, or not maintaining a balanced routine. While athletes who are experiencing burnout may exhibit a lack of Enthusiasm and Intentness (read: desire and effort), it wasn't a lack of those crucial qualities that got them there in the first place. In most cases, it was too much of that energy focused in the wrong direction for too long. In this episode, Christian and Noah share examples and experience on how to refocus, revive, and inject some fun back into your training program; all while building skills, confidence, and hopefully making some new friends along the way!
