This district's votes generally determine the rest of the commonwealth and the 19 electoral votes that will be crucial in securing the White House. Rob shares insight into this critical battleground state as voters in his district are saying the same thing every American is saying. Cost of living is too high, crime in the community is on the rise, an unsecure border has devastated communities with fentanyl and illegal immigration. President Trump has visited the commonwealth over 5 times in the recent months and Rob has seen a huge switch from registered Democrats to Republicans. Running against an extreme progressive Matt Cartwright, Rob is ready to take district 8's Congressional seat and keep a Republican majority in Congress. Up in Alaska, Nick Begich ran a campaign that resonated with voters enough to have current Lieutenant Governor Nancy Dahlstrom drop out of the race. With Alaska's convoluted rank choice voting this was the best way to ensure a Republican secures the Congressional seat. It was rank choice voting in the 2022 special election that allowed leftist Democrat Mary Peltola to get into office. Alaska's vote will be detrimental in the election should the race come to a 269-269 tie. Alaska is a red state that Donald Trump won by 10 points in 2020. Nick Begich is ready to represent Alaska to make the state and the country great again.
