Preston Sprinkle isn't scared of being cancelled. In fact it seems there's no subject he isn't prepared to debate. The Biblical scholar and Theology professor regularly takes on hot-button topics ranging from sexuality, race, patriotism and hell. He co-founded The Center for Faith, Sexuality and Gender which in their own words seeks to bring together leaders presenting 'a strong biblical ethic of marriage, sexuality and gender.' He's also a the host of his own podcast: Theology in the Raw. In his book People to be Loved: Why Homosexuality is not just an Issue he covered one of the most controversial questions The Church faces in the modern age. His position that homosexuality was a sin chimed with many conservatives but his robust compassion for those within the LGBT community and how they have been treated by Christians divided some. In his latest book Exiles: The Church in the Shadow of Empire he explores The Church's relationship with politics against the backdrop of his own country's upcoming US election.
