What You Need to Know is the left likes to destroy major institutions that are beneficial to the American people such as the university system or the corporate system. The left is now targeting the legal system because they do not have the grasp over it that they once had. Supreme Court justices are being harassed and attacked by the left. Big decisions such as presidential immunity are coming soon that would knock out some of the indictments against Trump. This upcoming election could be the left’s next target.

Dr. Ted Malloch, international expert on governance, economics, and business, joins Ed to talk about Europe. The most recent EU elections were a big win for right wing ideologies as long as these separate parties can band together to reverse some of the left wing nonsense. Emmanuel Macron called a snap election after this decision and will be voted out and replaced as prime minister. Viktor Orbán, prime minister of Hungary and member of the nationalist party took the majority of seats in the European parliament. Auron MacIntyre joins Ed to talk about his new book, The Total State: How Liberal Democracies Become Tyrannies. Auron talks about how government institutions took away basic rights we have as Americans during the pandemic and are still wielding that power to their benefit. The constitution itself doesn’t hold the power but the people's belief in it’s meaning and intention. We’ve destroyed the communities and intuitions that kept America together and the constitution can’t just fix that but rather a multigenerational effort to bring it back. Auron says that state and local community building will be what fixes the problems in society.
