This week, we're giving you our 2021 Phillies Season Preview! The season is here and we're clamoring to see if the Phils are actually able to produce a winning record during their regular season. Joining us this week to discuss what we can expect this season is Liz Roscher from Yahoo Sports and The Continued Success podcast over at TheGoodPhight.com.
But first, were Sixers fans absurd after the NBA trade deadline being pissed off with Daryl Morey for not making a bigger splash and trade? (approx. 4:25)
We then got into the perpetual purgatory of the Flyers and their front office, while placing Shayne Gostisbehere on waivers. How much of a shake up is needed with this team, and will a shake up actually manifest itself given the owner's inability to understand what this franchise needs in the front office? (approx. 9:10)
From there, we gave our thoughts on the Eagles trading down to No. 12 overall with the Dolphins, and what it means for the rebuilding of this franchise. (approx. 20:15)
This week on our Highbrow Segment, now that we know more about how the Negro Leagues will be part of Major League Baseball's statistics in the future, we wanted to discuss why it took until 2020-2021 for this to happen. The answer looking at this on the surface was - well, of course it took this long given our nation's history, but could this be the biggest sports atrocity of the 20th and 21st Centuries here in America? On our Lowbrow Segment this week, we're discussing "The Interview." if we had the opportunity to conduct a knock down, drag out type of interview with anyone in the sports world - living or dead - who would we want to interview? (approx. 40:40)
