Day 226 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. King David talks about how wisdom is valuable but often ignored. Life is unpredictable and short, so it's best to enjoy it responsibly. In old age, life's pleasures fade, and the book concludes with a call to remember God, the Creator. The final note is a warning to obey God's commandments, for everything will be judged. 1 Corinthians explains how Paul has the right to financial support as an apostle but chooses not to use that right. Instead, he preaches without charge, making himself a servant to all to win more people to Christ.
