Should we be studying the inner workings of the minds of those who don't seem to know what know what evidence is and therefore reject it?
My summary of the issue is this: by all means question - that's healthy, however, replacing reality with another version of reality is unhealthy.
Not understanding reality creates a negative impact for all of us, it affects our collective ability to solve problems if we are not understanding of, or, if we are in denial of the root cause of the problem.
