Cynthia is a mama of two from the US and popular podcast host of the Down to Birth Podcast.
She went from being a business executive and finance professor who knew nothing about birth to pregnant after one try, and faced a huge fear of birth. All the women in her surroundings and at her work had C/S while she knew she wanted a natural birth.
Her OB was all red-flags which she will tell us all about. She finally fired her, changed her birth plan from hospital to birth centre, and changed her life.
She’s here to tell us about her two amazing births. Her first at the birth center and her second at home together with her now podcast cohost midwife Trisha.
Having these amazing births she became a birth nerd and later on an internationally published and renowned birth educator and informed choice advocate.
