On this episode, the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is thrilled to welcome Inductee DJ Johnny “Juice” Rosado, an award-winning and Emmy-nominated composer, producer, turntablist, and mentor. A cornerstone of hip-hop history, Johnny Juice has left an indelible mark on the industry through his groundbreaking work with Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, DMC and Son of Bazerk, among others.
Raised in the Bronx and later a vibrant force on Long Island, he is not only a pioneer in the art of DJing but also a dedicated educator and global ambassador of hip-hop culture.
Today, we’ll explore his incredible journey, the birth of hip-hop, his experiences as part of Public Enemy, and his other projects.

The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is proud to open its doors to an awe-inspiring new facility in Stony Brook, NYthat is dedicated to the recognition, honor, and preservation of Long Island’s music and entertainment heritage. Since 2004, our organization has Inducted over 120 music artists and related professionals who will now be recognized in a permanent home on eastern Long Island. The space—covering 8,800 square feet—features a large exhibition area, theater, performance area, and an official “Hall of Fame Museum.”
Looking for an exciting location for your private or corporate event? From milestone birthdays, bridal showers, stylish weddings and fabulous private parties to corporate meetings, events and presentations, we can accommodate up to 125 guests in a cocktail-party format, or up to 80 as a sit-down dinner. Our state-of-the-art Surround Sound Theater or our famous Hall of Fame Stage are designed for presentations like no other.
Come to our Hall of Fame and make a day of it! Our location in historic Stony Brook Village is convenient to a great selection of restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as a wide range of outdoor activities. Plan your visit and enjoy!
