On tonight's show: We talk Detroit Tigers with Bill Ferris of The Detroit Tigers Weblog. Today, Bill surprised the Detroit blogosphere with his announcement he is semi-retiring from blogging. So we'll discuss the reasons why, along with where the Detroit Tigers stand after the events and injuries of the past weekend. Are the Tigers buyers or sellers...or will Dave Dombrowski play the season out with the cards he's been dealt? After we pick Bill's brain, the Knee Jerks will move on to the latest in Detroit sports. We'll continue with our Tigers talk, giving our own opinions on the direction of the team. We'll move on to the Detroit Lions, who will be starting training camp at the end of this week. The big story being they've yet to sign either of their two 1st round draft picks, Ndamukong Suh and Jahvid Best. There's still a huge hole at LB, and one FA option is off the board with Keith Bulluck signing with the Giants. The Lions continued their off season crusade to improve special teams with the signing of Isaiah Ekejiuba, the Raiders' coverage ace. Camp hasn't even started, and there's already talk about not placing heavy expectations on Jim Schwartz, even though the Lions believe they are much improved over last year's 2 win team. We'll also name our respective Jerk of the Week at the end of the podcast! Be here at 7PM every Monday night for the latest and greatest in sports talk...sports talk with a Detroit attitude!
