Why you need a list - you don't own any of your social media followers and while growing your following is nice, it is vanity, unless they are engaged. Your email list can help you develop community, give you a line of direct communication. In most cases the conversions are higher from your list too. Keep incentivising for new subscribers. Keep delivering value and your retention will be better. Creating an engaged/purchasing audience: Your email helps you build KLT. Become know for always delivering great value. Send at least 4 value-only emails before any one sales email.
