In today's episode we're chatting all about Email Marketing. Why you need a list, getting started, growing your list, and enabling nurturing your list with a view to earning from it in the future. Why you need a list - you don't own any of your social media followers and while growing your following is nice, it is vanity, unless they are engaged. Your email list can help you develop community, give you a line of direct communication. In most cases the conversions are higher from your list too. Getting started: We chat about the main Email Service Providers. We both use Convertkit and have used Mailchimp too. But we give you some possible alternatives. Remember you can switch providers down the line, so the key is to just get started. How to start getting subscribers:Opt-ins freebies, Newsletters, exclusive content, not just blog posts. Keep incentivising for new subscribers. Keep delivering value and your retention will be better. Creating an engaged/purchasing audience: Your email helps you build KLT. Become know for always delivering great value. Send at least 4 value-only emails before any one sales email.
