Have you ever had an idea that was so good that you did everything you could to make it a reality? Have you ever tried to create a game, book, story, podcast, piece of art, or even come up with a business idea? Many people have. Amongst those people, many have succeeded, but even more have failed. Within the creation of almost anything, there is a good chance that something is going to go wrong. It is in that moment of something going wrong that you must decide whether you want to work out the kinks and make it into something great, or simply decide that your creation was a horrible idea.
In the year 2001, new friends were the most important thing to Cody and he wanted to impress the new friends he could make in his new school. The best way in which he thought to do so was by the creation of a game to be played at his friend's birthday party. Essentially the game was the equivalent to playing dodgeball in the basement but a little bit more extreme. Listen in to this week's episode of the Haggard Odyssey to discover whether it was the greatest creation in all of Stapletown or an epic disaster.

About the Haggard Odyssey
Above average stories about the average life told by Cody Haggard. The Haggard Odyssey is a collection of tall tale stories themed around life growing up in northeast Ohio at the turn of the 21st century. For a kid there is no better place in the world to grow up than in the suburbs of Cleveland, or so you think when it is the only place you know. Tune in every Thursday to hear stories that will make you remember your favorite stories from your own life, and hopefully urge you to go out and tell your own story.
