In this episode, Savannah and Julie pull a story direct from social media, where a close friend of the podcast regaled her FaceBook wall with a post about her revealing her feminine side to a more conservative neighbor during a holiday party. What started earlier in the evening as "we should go take in a music event" before the reveal became "Don't ever bring 'her' around me because it makes me uncomfortable" after the reveal. Why does ones long personal history sometimes evaporate when we reveal our gender diversity with them? Why can't we all exhibit kindness when discussing our differences and what makes us comfortable and uncomfortable?

SAVANNAH HAUK is the author of “Living with Crossdressing: Defining a New Normal” and “Living with Crossdressing: Discovering your True Identity“. While both focus on the male-to-female (mtf) crossdresser, “Defining a New Normal” delves into crossdressing and relationships and “Discovering Your True Identity” looks at the individual crossdressing journey.
