It was just great talking to Steve Yacovelli.

I love this idea of feedback being a gift. I think it is a great gift to have access to information. Often as leaders, we're afraid of information if it doesn't align with what we believe.

And so I encourage you, as you get information, to see it as information to be curious about what you knew already. What you didn't know and not to leap to an immediate.

And then buy yourself time. You know, anytime you're getting feedback, that's hard to take. Just give yourself a minute to say, "Hey, let me think about that for a little while. Get back to you."

It's always okay to ask for more time. It's great any time you meet with a manager and they say something to you that you are like at the moment. Just train yourself to ask for more time. It's a great leadership skill.
