In this week's episode we have Tim Prindle, Co-President and CEO of BayVanguard Bank based out of Baltimore, Maryland and with 16 locations in Maryland! The bank lends locally in Maryland and in certain asset classes nationwide. He is originally from Yorba Linda in Southern California and lived there until he was 18 years old when he moved to attend University of Delaware. His role in the financial sector started with his first job right out of college with The Office of Thrift Supervision. He later became a consultant with GE Capital when a small community bank in 2010 asked to consult them. At that time the bank had a total of two full-time and two part-time employees with around $20 million in AUM (assets under management). Now, after several mergers and acquisitions with other community banks BayVanguard Bank has approximately 100 employees with around $800 million under management. Tim shares how easy him and his team make the banking experience and also what he sees successful organizations have - character, focus, and hard work!
