What gentle to way to remind Peter and us today to mind our own business. So you see, we are not the first ones and probably won’t be the last ones that need our focus corrected. You’ve probably heard this shift in focus that Jesus is speaking about presented this way today, “Where focus goes, energy flows.” This idea is not new, Jesus spoke about it 2000 years ago. So what is that to you, that your neighbor has a new car, that your coworker got a promotion, that your ex is getting married? If the events happening in the lives of others have your undivided attention, Jesus wants to tell you, As for you, follow me. Lets keep our eyes on Jesus.
