It's our 50th episode and we felt like putting on a little science fair. We are joined by Director of Brewing Sciences at USciences, Matthew (Matty Ice) Farber. Since we are in over our heads with an actual beer scientist we thought we would reach out to our resident mad scientist, Harry Peck from Xbeerimental Brewing, to be our first guest host. Matthew is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to brewing so we got some lessons dropped on us. We talk about how he cultivated the Philly Sour Yeast, how he got into teaching brewing science, what his favorite beers were that used the Philly Yeast and we also drank some beer brewed with said yeast.
