Federalist XI: The Utility of the Union in Respect to Commercial Relations and a Navy

Alexander Hamilton makes a case for being in a position of strength in order to have good commercial relations with foreign nations; one way to show such strength is to have a strong navy. As in the preceding papers, he shows the benefits of remaining united with one strong government, as opposed to separating the region into several parts.
In this episode, I give my thoughts on how the concepts Hamilton discusses in Federalist XI apply to us today.
