In His 3rd statement on the cross, Jesus makes a family connection. The agony of the crucifixion could not stop Jesus from deeply loving those around Him, including His mother. We examine a declaration that showed His desire for obedience, but even more so, His perfect love. True godliness is exhibited in loving beyond the pains of this world.
