Our hosts take us back to the prologue of John's gospel to establish a contrast between Jesus's own people who did not receive versus those who did receive no matter who their biological ancestors were. This sets up an even deeper contrast between the Jewish crowd of John 6 and the Samaritan crowd of John 4. Andrew and Edwin compare and contrast these two groups and discover some insightful lessons about being born again of water and Spirit.
