Today I’m sitting down with mindset coach and hypnotherapist, Paul Salter, to get his unique insights on using hypnosis to elevate your golf game.
Paul defines hypnosis as “a state of deep relaxation with the intention to make positive change”. A skilled hypnotherapist can help anyone silence their inner critic, and directly connect with their subconscious mind to unlearn limiting beliefs and. This, in turn, allows new, more productive beliefs to take their place.
Asked how golfers can harness the power of hypnosis to take their game to the next level, Paul reminds us that “there is no shortage of mental and emotional hazards on the course.” Coming up against those hazards triggers negative self-talk, which naturally nurtures self-destructive behaviors that ruin your chances at a great, fun round. To golfers struggling with emotional control, Paul demonstrates how hypnosis can significantly boost performance and align you with your best self.
