Rocky Mountain Power’s Wattsmart program attracts thousands of residents into the solar-plus-battery future, offering financial incentives and payments to make the switch. These systems form a "virtual power plant" that not only keeps energy rates low but also slashes carbon emissions and strengthens the grid.

But selling homeowners on pricey, battery-enhanced systems isn’t without its challenges. As solar incentives shifted, many companies abandoned Utah. Not ES Solar. They doubled down, mastering the solar-plus-battery model, and now handle 96% of all Wattsmart installations.
