For this episode we welcome special guest Charlotte Laws! Charlotte is an author, T.V. personality, public speaker, anti-revenge porn activist, and animal rights activist. She is a former actress and magazine cover girl. She has also performed as a standup comic at the Comedy Store. During this episode, we talk to Charlotte about her book Devil in the Basement. Charlotte is an adoptee and the book chronicles her journey into finding her birth family. This journey led Charlotte to Fairmont, West Virginia, which harbored a dark history of murder, satanic rituals, explosives, mobster dealings, love relationships, local Ku Klux Klan members, domestic violence, and familial ties. We also discuss the Netflix documentary, The Most Hated Man on the Internet. This documentary is the story of Charlotte's mission against the self-styled "King of Revenge Porn," (Hunter Moore), after her daughter (Kayla) was hacked and a topless photo of Kayla was posted online. Charlotte is one of the fiercest, admirable, and selfless individuals I've come across. It was an honor to have her on the show.
