This episode is about the situation of refugees and migrants in Europe. During this first hour we will talk to Dr. Michaella Vanore, a research fellow at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance, where she works as a researcher and lecturer on migration and development. Moreover, the Maastricht-based organization “Maastricht goes to Calais” will be with us to discuss the fundraising but to also raise awareness in regard to developments in EU migration policies and to further curate an understanding of the challenges faced in Calais in particular.
