Episode 6 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. This week Nick Farabaugh joins us to discuss the first week of Steelers OTAs. We start out with the offensive line. Troy Fautanu gets first team reps at right tackle. How the Steelers will employ their tackles is one of the biggest mysteries of this off-season.
Next we hit on the tight ends. Darnell Washington should enjoy more success in the new Arthur Smith offense. The biggest winner in this offense should be Pat Freiermuth however. Nick tells us he’s being lined up all over the field. Freiermuth is poised for a big season in 2024.
We wrap up the pod with some linebacker talk. Nick is more optimistic than most that Cole Holcomb can contribute to this defense in a big way in 2024. The reviews are also very good on Payton Wilson so far. His athleticism for the position is really showing through.
