Gordon Noble and Nicholas Evans are the authors of The King In the North: The Pictish Realms of Fortriu and Ce. The book is an analysis of the Pictish kingdom and uses archeological, historical, and literary sources to analyze the society's political structure, economy, artisanship, and technology while also addressing the nature of Pictish identity.
