The baseball impasse continues and the dumb comments continue as well. This time it’s Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt, Jr. who says baseball “isn’t very profitable”. Is MLB going to push away casual sports fans as this drags on?

Mt. Carmel’s Ed Howard is projected to go in the 1st round of the MLB Draft. Do either the White Sox or the Cubs have to take the local product?

Later, former Cubs shortstop Ryan Theriot joins Kap. He runs a training center in his native Louisiana and has a few prospects who could go in the draft. He talks about how different this year’s draft process has been.

Finally, Mitch Trubisky has been working out with some of the Bears’ offensive starters. Does that give him a leg up in the QB competition?
