In this episode of the Sport Intern Speical Podcast, we speak to two Olympian athletes regarding the switch from equestrian show jumping to obstacle racing, made by modern pentathlon.
While the new discipline won´t be introduced into the Olympics until LA 2028, it will debut as a competitive event later this year.
As athletes´ representatives of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM), former Olympians Natalya Coyle of Ireland and Britain´s James Cook, were instrumental in communicating the changes with pentathletes worldwide.
