Bethan Briggs-Miller - Bethan is a researcher, passionate folklorist and paranormal historian, with a degree in Medieval Studies from the University of Wales, Lampeter. She co-hosts two podcasts, Eerie Essex and Spectre of the Sea, where she explores the strange tales and folklore of Essex and Wales. She is also co-director of the East Anglian Folklore Centre due to open this open in Colchester, Essex, this autumn.
Bethan is also an artist who creates dreamlike landscapes using alcohol inks and oil paint. Bethan describes her creative approach as by applying these materials to the canvas the process allows scenes and characters to emerge organically with even the smallest areas containing a hidden story. - Exploring this further this also contrasts between what is observed on the surface and the hidden stories beneath and maybe secrets underneath.
