Today Anne Nicely shares her powerful journey from battling alcohol addiction to finding freedom and purpose through her faith in Jesus Christ. Anne candidly recounts her early experiences growing up in a small Kentucky town, where her father’s severe addiction deeply impacted her life. Despite vowing never to follow in his footsteps, Anne found herself caught in a cycle of binge drinking that left her overwhelmed with guilt, shame, and anxiety.
She reflects on the pivotal moments that led her to surrender her life to Christ, the transformative power of vulnerability, and the role that sharing her struggles with others played in the freedom story.
