In today's age, it's easy to fall into the trap of chasing fame, likes and followers in the hope it brings us some form of satisfaction and happiness. It doesn't matter how known we become, if we haven't come into the glance of the One, all of it is a waste.
Becoming self aware of our feelings when we come to know that we have been slandered will help us to know if we are resisting God, or if we are allowing ourself to be in the glance of God and the nature of love and compassion. Being in the company of those that are virtuous can help us to experience those very virtues within ourself. Bhai Baljit Singh discusses how to practically deal with experiencing hurt and slandering whilst maintaining Godly qualities.
