On today’s show, we’re checking in on the Conference Semifinals heading into four high leverage Game Sixes starting tonite. We always love a Game 6 around here, one team with their backs against the wall, the other poised to advance, but what sets this scenario apart is that three of the teams facing elimination are the higher seeds and their Game 6 is on the road. The pressure is on both teams tho; the team up 3-2 has to close out or face a Game 7 on the road. It starts with the Celtics trying to bounce back on the road in Philly after losing Games 4 and 5; lose again and it’s over, but win, and all of the sudden they’re back in Boston and it’s the Sixers facing elimination. Same situation with our Warriors headed back to LA and the Knicks heading to Miami; win and the advantage flips in their favor. Meanwhile, the Nuggets and Suns have both defended home court, and Denver has a chance to take a road game and close out in Phoenix tonite, and failing that, another chance at home for Game 7. Round 2 already has delivered the drama, but we’re all still holding out hope that all four series go 7!
