It was a crisp, wintry day on Ahway Island. The cozy cottage where Fiona Ferret lived with her human Fran was surrounded by a blanket of snow. Fiona had been awoken that morning by Fran’s gasp as she looked out the front window.

“Oh, my goodness, Fiona! Look at all this snow!” Fran exclaimed. Fran pulled back the curtains to reveal the glittering, frosty world outside. Fiona stirred in her little bed, twitching her nose. She peeked out to see what all the fuss was about. The light from the window instantly brightened up the little cottage. Fiona could see that snow was high enough to reach the bottom of the front door!

Today’s Meditation: Feel your body fill with love as you imagine a puffin family and think about your own unique family.
